Thank you, Sheri.
It has proved to be a good change, and I am in harmony with the owners. It makes it so much easier to do my best for them. I am finding out that I cannot work any other way.

Blessings and peace to you,
Cecilia

Hey there,

"I needed to learn that as friendly as people can seem, that doesn’t mean they are going to have my best interests at heart when they are in a difficult position themselves."

I have learned this too and it feels so much part of my learning as a business woman. I was going to hire a VA and asked for her resume and references. She said that she does not "give out her resumes," but would be happy to give me references. I was willing to go with that, but today woke up to a letter from her saying she was not feeling "healthy enough" to take a new client and no references. It was hard to ask for it, but I am learning that it is really important to find these things out up front, as it has biten me in the butt in the past.

Best of luck to you in your new position! Good on ya!

I'm admitting all over the bloggosphere today that I've been slacking on reading comments on my blog and visiting commenters' blogs. I wish I hadn't waited so long to stop by. Now I hope you'll be posting something at least once a week so we can keep up with what you're doing!

Generally, I am drawn to vibrant, mixed media art,
but this drawing takes my breath away! It is absolutely beautiful, and the horse is both mysterious and real at the same time. Amazing in the true sense of the word.
